GM Daniel Fridman wins the 29th Echternach Open with a very small lead over GM Andrey Sumets and GM Anthony Wirig.
It is Fridman's 2nd victory after 2012.

The tournament was also successful for the Echternach youth players, with Noa Zaccaria, Matthieu Zeihen, Konstantinos Basinas and Laurent Brittner winning a prize in a category.
